Knightsbridge: Period home modernised with a contemporary twist
ASM Construction worked with a team of interior designers on this stunning grade 1 listed town house in Knightsbridge in central London, giving it the contemporary sleek finish craved by it’s owners.
The £3 million building and renovation project, which included a basement pool, gym, and spa, was not without its difficulties. Renovations to the listed building required detailed liaison with the council ensuring its beautiful character and period features were carefully preserved.
The result was a triumph for the clients who ended up with the home of their dreams.
Highfield Park Visitor Centre: Creating a meeting place for generations to come
ASM Construction collaborated with Highfield Trust and a team of architects to create this bespoke community building.
The brief was to construct a building which looked beautiful at this St Albans park and was also highly practical. Indeed, to the casual observer the timber clad community meeting space looks as if it’s always been there.
Yet while with its beautiful glass doors, it has the look of a renovated barn, it is actually a new build.
The bespoke building was constructed on time and on budget and has become a focal point of Highfield Park.
Charmouth Road: Dream home for a young family.
When our St Albans client and his partner moved into their new home, they wanted a family kitchen with a wow.
With a young family they also wanted as much living space as possible. We worked with them to create a large ground floor extension giving plenty of room for a bespoke kitchen, utility and laundry area and a family living area with room for a sofa and media wall.
They completed the refurbishment with a brand new drive and landscape garden.
Needless to say, they are delighted with the refurb which gives them the perfect entertaining space as well as lots of room to accommodate a grown family.
St Albans: Kitchen transformation on a budget
ASM Construction worked to update a family home in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
We knocked through the old kitchen and dining room to make a more useable space for our clients, who have two older children. The couple wanted a kitchen island so they could host big family gatherings.
